What Itinerary?
No set itinerary, I don’t believe in them. We talk, we exchange ideas... You tell me what is your dream escape, your fantasy, your holy grail of travels. If you are not familiar with this region, looking at the images in the Gallery section will probably give you ideas. Maybe you want to feel like Marco Polo or an explorer like Younghusband? Be the first to cross a pass? Maybe you want to minimize physical exercise but you are after other challenges, like immersing yourself in a culture that is so far away from yours? Or maybe you’ve always wanted to ride a yak?
We will talk and if at all possible, try meet up a few months prior to departure. We’ll work out a customized itinerary together, using my insider knowledge and contacts on the ground. This will make for a one-of-a-kind trip. Of course, we will try to stick to schedule but we’ll always leave some room for the unexpected: A wedding? A yak caravan passing by? Let me do the talking and we might just join in…
